Collect 5.0 - 7.0 mL of whole blood in a serum separator tube.
Transport Information:
Centrifuge serum separator tube and transport in original tube at room temperature.
Minimum Sample Volume: 
2.0 mL of serum (approximately 4.0 mL of whole blood based upon a normal patient hematocrit)
Unacceptable Conditions:
Unlabeled or mislabeled samples will be rejected. HLA will determine specimen acceptability for reasons other than unlabeled/mislabeled.
