Collection Information: 
Collect blood in a Lavender (EDTA) tube. Yellow (ACD) also acceptable.

Transport Information: 
Centrifuge and aliquot 2.0 mL of plasma into a plastic transport vial. 

Minimum Sample Volume: 
0.5 mL of plasma (approximately 1.0 mL of whole blood based upon a normal patient hematocrit)

Unacceptable Conditions: 
Specimens beyond their acceptable length of time from collection as listed in the specimen handling, specimens received in trap containers or specimen types other than those listed.
