Collect blood in a SST (Serum Separator) or Red (No Additive). Light Green (Lithium Heparin Plasma Separator Tube) and Green No Gel (Lithium Heparin) also acceptable.

Transport Information: 
Centrifuge and aliquot 1.0 mL of serum or plasma into a plastic transport vial. Send refrigerated.

Minimum Sample Volume: 
0.75 mL of serum or plasma (approximately 1.5 mL of whole blood based upon a normal patient hematocrit)
