Collection Information:

Collect 1.0 - 3.0 mL of whole blood in a dark green with green stripes on label sodium heparin tube (preferred); lavender EDTA and green lithium heparin tubes are acceptable.

Transport Information:

Spin down and send 0.5 mL of heparinized or EDTA plasma frozen.

Submitting the minimum volume makes it impossible to repeat the test or perform confirmatory or reflex testing.
